United We Serve helps those in need of food in the Walled Lake School
District. The Hospitality House Food Pantry is open three days a week (Mon
5-8 pm; Thurs 10-2; Sat 11-2).

Open Door provides food and crisis funding. They also operate a resale
store for low-cost clothing and small items (donations are appreciated).
They serve residents of Waterford, White Lake, West Bloomfield,
Commerce, Milford, and parts of Wixom and Walled Lake.
Families who live outside the service area will find some help and referrals to
agencies in their home area.

Church World Service helps millions of people each year with economic and social
development around the world. The Lakes Area CROP walk is typically the
2nd Sunday of October to raise financial support and awareness. 25% of all
funds raised support local organizations.
